Summary of the next two steps
BUSINESS BULLETPOINTS
Go through each item on your lists and think about each one
You’ll need to prioritize each item based on your experience, expertise, interest and enthusiasm for it
Keep your prioritization simple, rate each one as High, Medium or Low
Don’t feel that this section needs to be rushed
Step 3 – Prioritize your skills and interests
Take the first skill that you have rated as ‘H’ and put it with the first interest that you’ve rated as ‘H’ and write it down. Then, combine that first skill with the second interest you rated as H and so on until you’ve combined your first skill with all ‘H’ interests
Next, go to your second ‘H’ skill and combine it with all ‘H’ interests and so on until you’ve combined all of your ‘H’ skills with all of your ‘H’ interests
If, after completing this step, you don’t feel that you have quite enough combinations, you can repeat this with your ‘M’ skills and interests
Step 4 – Combine your skills and interests to create ideas
You can see an example of this on the next page
