A sprawling business campus in a suburban area required a combination of security and communica-tions for their offices, warehouse and production facilities. With multiple entrances and a large parkinglot, it was necessary to install security measures that ensured the safety of all employees and visitors.Inside, communications between the noisy production facility, large warehouse and multi-story officebuilding needed to be improved and streamlined. The campus-wide communications solution neededto be reliable and economical.

BUSINESS CAMPUS CASE STUDY

On campus grounds, emergency towers and emergency phones were installed to increase safety, as wellas a push button telephone for visitor use. In both the production and warehouse areas of the businesscampus, a combination of HUBBCOM™ RCS units and HUBBCOM™ devices were installed to allow point-to-point communication, as well an IP alarm generator to broadcast announcements and alerts such asfire or weather alerts. In shared spaces like the lunchroom and conference rooms, where both form andfunction are important, HUBBCOM™ devices were installed. Speakers were also installed strategicallythroughout the facility so that announcements were able to be heard in every location.
