Parkstone“The house was originally my parents’ and since then it has been used as our family holiday home for the past 35 years,” explains Geraldine. “The superb location was one of the main attractions that made me want to carry on enjoying this stunning property. I love the fact the house is south facing and it therefore gets the sun all day long. It is also extremely spacious. Parkstone was completely refurbished two years ago and everything has now been modernised to an immaculate standard. There are a total of four bedrooms all with en suites, so there’s plenty of space for family and guests.”

“There is a mature garden, with a large terrace which is perfect for barbeques and entertaining purposes,” adds Geraldine. “With such a range of things to do in the area, you’ll never be rattling around. It is an amazing situation here, overlooking the Cleddau Estuary, with Neyland marina down the road. The family moored their yacht there, plus there is also a boat yard with slip, where a speed boat was kept for water skiing on the river that the house overlooks. To anyone with a passion for the water it’s idyllic.”

“The location is brilliant for any number of activities and there are many world class beaches close by as well as a number of tourist attractions within the area. On a more practical level though, there is also a huge choice of excellent local schools. Burton is approximately five miles from Haverfordwest and one mile from Pembroke, where there are many shops, restaurants and pubs. Transport links are easily accessible with Pembroke train station just a short distance away.”

“Pembrokeshire is a beautiful part of the world and Parkstone would make a great residence or holiday home. It will be sorely missed by all the family. The whole family have had some wonderful memories over the years but we are sure the next owners will be extremely happy here,” concludes Geraldine.
