Last Week’s Speaker s Highlights – Dr. Joseph Evans Topic: Breakthrough In Prostrate Cancer Treatment
Bahamian Urologist, Dr. Joseph Brown is being lauded for what some are call-ing a medical breakthrough in the fight against Prostrate Cancer, he is responsi-ble for developing a formula that has kept a number of men from dying. With 30 years of experience, both in the Bahamas and in the United States, Dr. Evans’ “Navophos” formula is changing the face of Prostrate Cancer treatment in this country and soon the world. Dr. Evans has worked hard since the 1990s devising the treatment. Since it has come on stream he has been able to cure some of his terminally ill patients. He owns and operates The Bahamas Urology Center told stories of pa-tients he had seen with a Prostrate-Specific Antigen (PSA) of over 100 when the normal PSA scale ranges from 0-40. PSA is a blood test doctors use to monitor prostrate cancer. In one instance, Dr. Evans said there was a patient suffering with a PSA of 3,334 and was handed a death sentence by another urologist. But when that same patient sought Dr. Evans’s help , the prognosis he said, was a lot different. Dr. Evans stated that he started the patient on his formula, and after six weeks the patient showed a significant improvement in his PSA count. Dr. Evans pointed out the fact that prostrate cancer is a highly treatable disease even in its advanced stages. He also added that he believes he will be able to tell people in the future how to prevent prostrate cancer. In conclusion he mentioned that patients are able to receive his treat-ment for just under $300 compared to cancer treatments costing thousands of dollars. He noted that his medicine has defied the odds by bringing down PSA levels by almost 100 percent in a few short weeks.
