Who Then Is This? 

Perhaps you have noticed that in Dr. Luke's gospel he oftengroups together what seems to be very di"erent stories. Buteach story serves a purpose with a point or truth that hewants to emphasize to us. Earlier in this gospel we focusedon the miracles that Christ performed. These revealed to themultitudes that Christ is the Savior.

In today's text we'll look at another miracle performed by

Jesus. This is directed primarily to the disciples. Lukerecorded this miracle and others to teach the disciples howto live the life God had called them to in a fallen world.These lessons can be applied to us today. How did Jesusrespond when faced with trials and tribulations? Howshould we respond? The disciples witnessed the powerand authority of Jesus and asked, "Who then is this?"  Let'slook at that question today as we prepare to study God'sword.

BCTC Needs: Water & TeaThe first weekend of our first annual Biblical Counseling

Training Conference (BCTC) just ended Saturday evening. We

are looking forward to what God has in store for us! We are still

collecting cases of bottled water & iced tea for BCTC until  

 April 30. This is a great opportunity to be involved in this

excited season as a church and be unashamed disciples!
