Instructions
• If there is a Water demand for Irrigation and Cooling purpose, please approach Drainage Department under
ASHGHAL requesting a letter confirming TSE availability at site.
• Attach AutoCAD drawing showing Water reservoir capacity & height which must match with QND and must shows the
Bulk Flow Meter & Flow Control Valve which has to be installed as per attached Drawing NDS-SD-138.
• Building Permit Application, Metering Forms, and Permanent Connection Forms must be filled in.
• If the type of supply is temporary, Temporary Connection Forms and Metering Forms must be filled in.
• The Purchaser must at all times under these Terms and Conditions where Power is being supplied to the Purchaser
ensure that the Project has a power load factor (being the ratio of the Maximum Demand, expressed in MW, to the
maximum volt-amps, expressed in MVA, to be made available at the Delivery Point) of between 0.90 lagging and 0.95
leading in order to economically achieve required power transfer levels.
• Developer shall arrange to procure, test and install the Electricity and Water Bulk meter as per Kahramaa technical
standards and specifications and install under Kahramaa supervision.
• Kahramaa requirements for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) shall be implemented for all installed water and electricity meters. Customer shall submit AMI proposal for Kahramaa’s review and approval before any supply, installation, or commissioning is made for any of the AMI components.
