For stand-alone cameras, simply connect thecamera to an IP encoder; if it’s a PTZ camera, the IPencoder includes RS-232/RS-485 serial ports so youcan pan, tilt and zoom the camera to follow the actionor better capture identifying details. You can connecta standard PTZ keyboard to an IP decoder or controlthe PTZ camera using video navigation software onyour PC. And you can connect analog monitors toyour network using an IP decoder or IP DVR.
