These wall assembly show the wall construction that allows to read heat gain/loss inside the interior spaces. Absorbance and Radiation are also considered in these conditions.
Rigid insulation is often applied to the outside of the building. It offers a barrier to radiant heat. Reflected insulation uses material of high reflectivity and low emissivity, such as aluminum foil in conjunction with dead-air space to reduce the transfer of radiant heat.
