Building Inspector I/II Position: Performs technical building inspection and plans examining work to enforce compliance with building codes, regulations and ordinances; researches new construction materials and methods; reviews plans for compliance with city, state, and federal rules and regulations; and provides information to and works with the public to resolve problems. Position may be filled at either level depending upon qualifications. Salary: $24.98 - $35.05 per hour, plus excellent benefits. Both positions include fully paid medical for most plans (including family cover- age) as specified in the current union contract.
