BUILDING COMMUNITY THROUGH COMMUNICATIONS Kristine …€¦ · and MLMs, and why Vísi is her dream...

Kristine Widtfeldt is the new Vice President of Marketing at Vísi—but that might not be the answer you’d get if you asked her children what she does for a living. If you were to ask them what mom does, they might say: “She writes,” from web copy to scripts to brochures. Or perhaps, “She reads,” mostly in the form of voluminous email and industry info. But unequivocally, they’d answer: “She talks…a lot.” That’s because at her heart, Kristine is a passionate communicator—reading, writing and speaking to share ideas, learn from others and connect people together. It’s easy to see then, why Kristine’s career has found its perfect stride at the intersection of marketing and MLMs, and why Vísi is her dream job. “I love marketing; I believe its definition is ‘showing value,’ so it’s my job to help people connect with products and opportunity in a personal way—seeing the value and how it makes their lives better,” she says. Kristine gravitated to network marketing several years ago, after working in more traditional corporate environments, including leadership at an academic publishing house, a telecommunications giant, ad agency and television station. For the past 10 years, she has been the Vice President of Marketing and Product Development for a multi-national direct sales company with tens of thousands of distributors. “I love network marketing—it is SO personal. You can build something great and it’s entirely yours,” Kristine says. “Network marketers are the most inspiring and visionary people in the world. To have the chance to use my marketing skills to help real, hardworking people that I know and care about, that is both a dream job and a serious responsibility.” Kristine joined Vísi following a series of long conversations with Founder and CEO Kent Lewis, whom she has known for many years. “I know Kent to be a man of integrity from the word go,” she says. “But then, he invited me to try the products. They delivered. He shared with me the company’s growth trajectory and the roadmap for the future. It all came together, and I knew this was something I HAD to be a part of.” If you were to ask Kristine what she does for a living since making the decision to join Vísi, her answer might be different than all the rest: “I read, I write, I speak…and now, I get to contribute to Vísi’s fearless future, with great people, great fun and great gratitude.” BOLD STEPS FORWARD IN VIETNAM This September gives our Vietnam market two great reasons to celebrate: first, the month marks the country’s one-year anniversary since opening, and second, it’s been a month of unprecedented growth. CFO Paul Frampton traveled to two events in late August, one held in the capital city of Hanoi and the second held in the southern part of the country in Ho Chi Minh City. “The response was incredible and really sets the tone for the coming months,” Paul says. Attendance topped 1,000 at the Hanoi event, with nearly 500 at the Ho Chi Minh City event. But unequivocally, they’d answer: “She talks…a lot.”

That’s because at her heart, Kristine is a passionate communicator—reading, writing and speaking to share ideas, learn from others and connect people together. It’s easy to see then, why Kristine’s career has found its perfect stride at the intersection of marketing

and MLMs, and why Vísi is her dream job.

BOLD STEPS FORWARD IN

VIETNAMThis September gives our Vietnam market two great reasons to celebrate: first, the month marks the country’s one-year anniversary since opening, and second, it’s been a month of unprecedented growth.

“All in all, we have added more than 1,000 Partners from the combined events, and we’re confident we’ll see continued surges in additional recruiting from this momentum,” he noted.

Revenues from Vietnam look strong as well, with the last four months of 2014 projected to outperform the first eight months of the year. It’s all about the blend of product and opportunity, which Vietnam is embracing. In fact, on July 27, 2014, Vísi was awarded six Golden Awards for products of the year at an expo sponsored by the Vietnam Health Department and the National Association of Supplements. More than 7,000 products were featured in the event, from top brands in the nutritional and supplementation market. All total, 52 awards were given, with Vísi products taking home six of them—no other entrant so dominated the awards categories. It’s thanks to outstanding product accolades like this, coupled with exceptional leadership from Vietnam General Manager Joseph Nguyen and field leadership as well that are bringing Vísi to light in the market. Joseph notes, “The sun has begun to shine on Vietnam, our future will be bright and prosperous.”

BACK TO BUSINESS

PROMOTIONThere is one week left in the Back to Business Promotion and you don’t want to miss your chance to take advantage of the opportunity to earn some extra cash for building your team!

Here’s how it works: From Saturday, August 30, 2014, through Friday, September 26, 2014, you will receive a cash bonus for every one of your Personally Sponsored Partners who sponsors a new Partner on a 500 PV or greater Enrollment Pack. Your bonus will be $25 for every $100 in Sponsor Pack Bonus your Personally Sponsored Partners receive. For example, if your Personally Sponsored Partner sponsors a new Partner on a 500 PV Enrollment Pack, your Personally Sponsored Partner will receive $100 in Sponsor Pack Bonus and you will receive $25. If your Personally Sponsored Partner sponsors a new Partner on a 1000 PV Enrollment Pack, your Personally Sponsored Partner will receive $200 in Sponsor Pack Bonus and you will receive $50. But that’s not all. The Vísi Partner whose Personally Sponsored Partners sponsor the most new Partners on 500 PV or greater Enrollment Packs during the promotion period will have their Back to Business Promotion Bonuses doubled. For example, if your Personally Sponsored Team sponsors 40 new Partners on 500 PV Enrollment Packs and 16 new Partners on 1000 PV Enrollment Packs and your Personally Sponsored Team had the highest number of new enrollments, you could double your earnings from $1,800 (40 x $25 + 16 x $50) to $3,600. Only one Vísi Partner will have their Back to Business bonuses doubled. Will it be you? Please note that all Back to Business Bonuses will be paid after the promotion has concluded and that the Back to Business Bonuses are paid on the activity of your Personally Sponsored Partners, not your Personally Enrolled Partners. Only new sponsored Vísi Partners who purchase eligible 500 PV or greater Enrollment Packs will count toward the Back to Business Promotion. The following markets are eligible for the

Back to Business Promotion: United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Hong Kong.
