Deployment Overview

What is Deployment?

Deployment is the final step in creating your app. It is the process of putting your app on your business’ Facebook Page, on the iPhone Market, and on the

Android Market, for all of your customers to access.

Navigating to DeploymentUsing the deployment feature is easy. Simply go to the

widgets menu on the left and click on the ‘Deploy’ widget.

Select Your DevicesOnce you are inside the deployment menu, you will be given the

option to deploy on several devices. Simply chose the devices you want and click ‘Request Deployment’.

The Deploy EmailYou will then receive an email stating that a deployment request was

made. You will also receive further emails throughout the deployment process.

A Slight Delay

Deployment onto the iPhone Market and the Android Market is not quick. The process works like this:

1. We review your app and send it to the appropriate store.

2. Apple and/or Google then review your app.

3. We then receive their decision and if your app is approved we give it to you so that you can link to your app.

Updating Your AppAfter you app has successfully been deployed, you then need to

update your app’s links. These must point to your Facebook Page and your app’s URL on the Android or Apple Market.

Informing Your Customers

The final step is to inform your customers that you now have a new app! How you do this is completely up to you but some suggestions are:

A Facebook Page update

A Twitter announcement

An email or in an online newsletter
