The process of building or remodeling a home produces a vast quantity of drywall dust and dirt particles. Dust can settle into the cracks and travel through the vents to other rooms. This poses not only a difficult cleaning situation, but also a health

hazard to contractors and residents alike. Because the dust is so fine, it is important to use a high efficiency vacuum that collects and contains the particles instead of spreading them around.

PREPARATION FOR A QUALITY FINISH

DRYWALL INSTALLATION:

Sanding is an essential part of drywall installation. Dust is messy. It can also be dangerous to inhale the many fine dust particles in the air if you’re not wear-ing a mask or respirator. After sanding, be sure to completely vacuum the area to ensure you have a clean surface to continue with installation.

TILE & LAMINATE INSTALLATION:

Always make sure the surface is clean before any installation. Failing to do so will allow dirt to get mixed into the thin-set, preventing tiles from adhering to surfaces. This could lead to the tiles becoming loose once they are installed. Vacuuming is always the best application for making sure the dirt is eliminated.

FLOORING INSTALLATION:

As any installer knows, fine dust can make or break a final project. A vacuum provides a quick, versatile cleanup by easily attaching to floor sanders and cap-turing fine dust before it re-enters the environment.
