Are  you  ready  to  feel  alive?  Are  you  ready  to  remind  yourself  that  you  are  more  than  your  labels,  whatever  they  are?    Are  you  ready  to  be  in  the  company  of  others  who  understand?  Together  we  can  grow  through  our  challenges,  support  and  empower  one  another!    MS,  Parkinson’s,  uniquely-­‐abled  hikers,  advocates,  families,  friends,  and  positive  people  welcomed!    Join  Lori  Schneider  and  the  Empowerment  Through  Adventure  team  on  July  9-­‐-­‐-­‐13,  2018,  as  we  access  the  most  remote  areas  of  the  Bugaboo  mountain  range,  via  helicopter.  Imagine  flying  by  helicopter  into  the  heart  of  the  Canadian  Rockies.  The  sights  of  ancient  glaciers,  jutting  pinnacles,  snow-­‐-­‐-­‐capped  peaks,  and  placid  lakes  are  nothing  short  of  mesmerizing.  Each  day  you  and  a  small  group  will  fly  with  a  guide  to  several  different  locations,  experiencing  extraordinary  views,  beauty,  and  the  most  unbelievable  hiking!    Return  to  the  lodge  via  helicopter  transport  each  afternoon  when  you  feel  ready.    Choose  your  level  of  adventure.  From  breathtaking  hikes  along  grassy  meadows,  lunch  by  a  mountain  lake,  ridge  walks  high  above  the  trees,  glacier  traversing,  or  challenge  your  sense  of  adventure  and  try  one  of  the  optional  “Via  Ferrata”  (the  iron  road)  climbs,  securely  harnessed  and  clipped  in  with  safety  ropes,  helmets,  and  a  pounding  heart!  Try  them  all,  or  just  relax  in  one  of  the  Adirondack  chairs  at  the  lodge  after  a  massage,  a  dip  in  the  outdoor  hot  tub  or  pond,  a  trip  up  the  climbing  wall,  or  all  of  the  above.    Hiking  elevations  never  exceed  9000ft.

 Empowerment  Through  Adventure  teams  up  with  the  experts  at  Canadian  Mountain  Holidays,  for  a  short  escape  that  will  excite  the  senses  and  thrill  even  the  most  seasoned  adventurer!  It’s  all  about  the  place,  not  the  pace.    Trip  price  of    $3490  Canadian  Dollars  (approx.  $2760  USD)  includes:  -­‐Three  nights  lodging  at  the  spectacular  Bugaboo  Lodge  (July  10,  11,  12)  -­‐All  gourmet  meals  at  the  lodge  and  on  the  trail,  snacks  also  provided  -­‐Use  of  hiking  boots,  backpacks,  rain  pants  and  jacket,  hiking  poles  -­‐Climbing  wall,  hot  tubs,  exercise  equipment,  stretch  classes  -­‐Ten  or  more  helicopter  transports  to  the  most  pristine  hiking      destinations  imaginable,  expert  hiking  guides    -­‐Bus  transportation  between  the  Calgary  Airport  and  heli-­‐-­‐-­‐pad  on  (July  9  and  July  13).  You  may  also  arrange  pick  up  or  departures  from  nearby  Banff  or  Lake  Louise.  

 • Optional  add  on  $253  Canadian  Dollars  (approx.  $199  USD):  July  9th  overnight  lodging  at  Calgary  Airport  Hotel  inside  the  terminal,  prior  to  our  early  morning  bus  departure  from  hotel  for  transportation  to  helicopter  pad  on  July  10th    at  5:30am.  

• Optional  add  on  $253  Canadian  Dollars  (approx.  $199    USD):  July  13th  overnight  lodging  at  Calgary  Airport  Hotel  for  final  night  before  flying  home  on  July  14th.  We  arrive  via  bus  at  the  hotel/airport  by  3PM  on  the  13th,  so  flying  that  night  is  an  option.  

• If  you  choose  to  arrive  early  or  extend  your  stay  in  Canada,  suggestions  for  transportation  and  lodging  are  available  through  CMH.    (Calgary,  Banff,  and  Lake  Louise  are  easily  accessible)
