How to Integrate BuddyPress and bbPress-by WisdmLabs

1. Install BuddyPress and bbPress

A Social networking plugin for members and groups

A forums plugin

2. Create a Forums Page

Create and Publish a page titled ‘Forums’, since bbPress uses forums as the base slug. This page will be used to access all forums.

3. Create BuddyPress Parent Forum

Create a Parent Forum for all forums used by BuddyPress

4. Configure bbPress for BuddyPress

Set Forum settings for BuddyPress

5. Create a Forum for each Group

When creating new Groups, allow a discussion forum to be created for the Group.

Note: For existing Groups, Update Group Settings
