Vision and Discernment

• While praying, Ruby received a vision of a sea of buckets, each bucket containing a Bible and basic necessities.

• She asked the Lord, “What is the meaning of these buckets?”

• The Lord replied, “I want you to take them to the poor in the country that you were born.

Page 45: BUCKETS FOR JESUS MISSION

Mission Miracles• Buckets multiplied each time we gave them away – when we left

Perth we had 3000, by the time we finished, we had 5000 including 1000 carried forward for the next mission, the vision of buckets became a reality.

• The workers were multiplied by the Lord to 8 in Manila and 18 in Cebu

• Overcame red tape to get the Bibles, despite the costs in relation to the budget for the buckets. Bible donations never stopped throughout the mission.

• Hotel upgrade from a 2 bedroom to 4 bedroom penthouse at a 5 star serviced apartment fully sponsored our stay (Frasers Manila.)

Page 46: BUCKETS FOR JESUS MISSION

Mission Miracles

• Excess luggage allowance – the officer who approved our request, resigned from the job with Malaysian Airlines, but all 10 of our luggage with 148kg went through free of charge.

• Smooth sailing trips (international & domestic) no traumas or delays, arrived on all schedule, transfers smooth and no hitches despite PAL (Pal Always Late) being notorious for being late.

• Evangelisation – despite rusty Tagalog and Cebuano Ruby was able to give testimony & evangelise through the Holy Spirit in the spoken dialects.

Page 47: BUCKETS FOR JESUS MISSION

Mission Miracles• Great courage and strength each day, the Lord renewed our

vigour and sent us daily to evangelise, touch and bless daily, go home late & pack the buckets for next day’s mission day to day routine.

• God’s timing was always perfect each day, all prearranged and orchestrated in every move we made. We were always ahead of schedule if not on time!

• Prison visit – at first we were scared but when we allowed the Lord to take over, He used our faith to move the hearts of the inmates & miracles started to happened. Outpouring of the Holy Spirit lead to the most powerful praise & worship we have ever experienced.

Page 48: BUCKETS FOR JESUS MISSION

Mission Miracles• The Lord taught us that miracles can only happened when we

overcome our fears. It is the turning point, fear is the stumbling block to our miracles today.

• Praise and worship was powerful through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, even non- believers were touched and Muslims asked for Bibles.

• Visit brought reconciliation with DOJ members who left the community but joined DOJs to meet us at gathering for the first time after 4 years.

 • The Lord’s protection and provision was overflowing – helpers

were always at hand to help and facilitate our visits.

Page 49: BUCKETS FOR JESUS MISSION

Mission Miracles

• The Lord orchestrated the mission to bless the needy, made them feel loved and important – a leader in one village told us that they’ve been praying for Bibles and were amazed how God answered their prayers through us!

• The Lord directed us to focus on Him & not ourselves, even the helpers were moved/ touched and joined the mission – entire household of Ruby’s brother including the driver, maids were holding their Bibles when we departed.

• The Lord protected our health, fully charged each day to enable us to reach out to those we were ministering to. (Kamila got the bug on the first few days in Cebu but recovered remarkably overnight.)

Page 50: BUCKETS FOR JESUS MISSION

Mission Miracles

• The greatest miracle at the mission is how the Lord changed our hearts and gave us a heart of obedience and to trust Him only. He revealed to us that He alone matters and everyone/everything else will perish except those who know HIM. Indeed, we left our "baggage" behind us and came back with a  Heart for Jesus, for indeed, its all about Him, truly He is rightfully the Heart of our Worship!

  • TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY! LET US PRAISE HIM

WITH ALL OUR HEARTS, MIND & STRENGTH!
