TemperaturverhaltenFLENDER-Zahnradgetriebe haben bei einemguten Wirkungsgrad ein gnstiges Temperatur-verhalten.Bei der Getriebeauswahl legt Flender eineniedrige maximale ltemperatur zugrunde. DieBetriebssicherheit wird dadurch erhht, und derWartungsaufwand verringert sich durch lngere

lstandszeiten.

DesignFLENDER gear units are a completely newdesign. Outstanding innovations are:

more sizes with a reduced variety of parts;

higher operational reliability combined withincreased power capacity;

flanged output shafts to facilitate assembly ofgear units in confined spaces (on request).

Mounting positionFLENDER gear units are available for horizontalinstallation.The following inclinations are possible without anyadditional measures, with the exception of theadjustment of the oil quantity and the length of theoil dipstick:longitudinal 5lateral 2

Noise behaviourNew concepts were applied to clearly improve thenoise emission of the gear units by

grinding the bevel gears;

designing noise-absorbing housings by meansof the MASAK computing program; and

achieving exceptionally large contact ratios.

Thermal conductionFLENDER gear units not only have a high effi-ciency but also a favourable thermal conduction.

The selection of FLENDER gear units is based ona lower maximum oil temperature. By that, theoperational reliability will be increased and thecost of maintenance reduced due to longer oil

change intervals.
