address
Optional
S_STATIC_IPGW Static IP gateway of the BTS3900B Optional. In public network access through IPSec
mode, the static IP gateway is used to configure
default route during the setting of BTS static IP
address.
DNS_Server DNS Optional
PSeGW_IP IP addresses of the PSeGW
PSeGW_DN Domain name of the PSeGW
Set either the IP address or the domain name.
When you choose to set the domain name, the DNS
should be configured in the network and properly
set.
M2000_DHCPServer_IP IP address of the M2000 DHCP server
M2000_DHCPServer_DN Domain name of the M2000 DHCP
server
Set either the IP address or the domain name.
When you choose to set the domain name, the DNS

GW_LOCAL_ID Type of IKE local authentication:
name: Indicates that the IKE
authentication is performed by the
domain name.
Mandatory. The type of the IKE local authentication
must be the same as the type of the IKE peer
authentication on the SeGW.
Item Topic Description
ip: Indicates that the IKE
authentication is performed by the IP
address.
GW_REMOTE_ID Type of the IKE peer authentication:
name: Indicates that the IKE
authentication is performed by the
domain name.
ip: Indicates that the IKE
authentication is performed by the IP
address.
Mandatory. The type of the IKE peer authentication
must be the same as the type of the IKE remote
authentication on the SeGW.
GW_LOCAL_NAME The IKE local name that is used during
the tunnel establishment with the
PSeGW
Optional
This parameter is configured only when
GW_LOCAL_ID is set to name. The IKE local name
must be the same as the IKE peer name on the
PSeGW.
GW_ROMOTE_NAME The IKE remote name that is used
during the tunnel establishment with
the PSeGW
Optional
This parameter is configured only when
GW_ROMOTE_ID is set to name. The IKE remote
name must be the same as the IKE local name on
the PSeGW.
GWS_LOCAL_NAME The IKE local name that is used during
the tunnel establishment with the BSC

Procedure
1. Connect the USB disk to the USB port of the BTS3900B directly or through a USB data cable. Check the status
of the RUN/ALM LED on the BTS3900B panel.
If ... Then ...
The RUN/ALM LED is green and blinks on for 0.125 s
and off for 0.125 s
It indicates that preconfiguration data file is being loaded
to the equipment.
2. WARNING:
3. When the RUN/ALM LED is green and blinks on for 0.125 s and off for 0.125 s, do not remove the USB disk.
4. After the preconfiguration file is loaded, wait one or two minutes. After the BTS is reset, check the status of the
RUN/ALM LED on the BTS3900B panel.
If ... Then ...
The RUN/ALM LED is green and blinks on for 1 s and off
for 1 s
It indicates that the BTS is running properly. Go to 3.
5. Remove the USB disk or USB data cable from the USB port on the side of the BTS3900B.
6. Check the transmission between the BTS3900B and the BSC on the LMT.
