Web Guiding- Devices:

The guiding device is the �hand� which the web guiding system uses to make the physical

corrections to the web path. It becomes active if the web position deviates from the set

position. It corrects the web position, moved by the actuator until the desired position has

been reached. The guiding devices are deliverable in di�erent sizes and versions for almost all

web widths and applications. A variety of roll versions and coatings are at the disposal for

Web Guiding- Controllers:

Controller compares actual values on the web position with de�ned nominal values. If there is

a deviation, the controller sends a correction signal to the guiding device.

you can choose between ekr500 Digital or ekrPro Com60. The variety of connectable

Web Guiding- Actuators:

Web Guiding- Sensors:

The Right Scanning System for Each Type of Material. The current position of the web is the

basis. It is captured by one or more sensors as actual position. BST eltromat o�ers you wide

1. Ultrasonic sensors (US): The scanning of the web edge is realized contact-lessly by

ultrasound.�

control web without proper tension being applied to it. The web must be �in traction� with all machine idler rolls and

Electronic register control systems are essential elements of modern printing technologies. The permanent & automatic

control of the register is indispensable in any web fed process. BST eltromat register control systems are the result of

dealing with the requirements of printers for decades; they have been consequently developed to meet the demands

in the various ranges of applications in reel-print processes, for o�set, rotogravure and �exo printers, for inline and

The eye of the printer

Register controls of the latest generation are equipped with �bre optic scanning heads and CCD-Matrix-cameras for the

detection of register marks. This guarantees safe detection and transmission of high-complex register marks even at

high speed. Standardized as well as individually placed register marks are detected precisely, independent of their

control of a single print unit or tool station. The register control system by BST eltromat

The 1-pixel color camera from BST eltromat also allows the detection of marks with a very low
