Dear Ladies & Gentlemen, It’s our immense pleasure to share the Life sketch

of Mr. Musharrof Hossain, who is the winner of Life Time HR Achievement Award for this year.

Mr. Musharrof Hossain, President; BSHRM and Head of Human Resources Management in icddr,b was born in 1960 in an aristocrat family in Bhahmanbaria and started his HR career with CARE-International as the Human Resources Manager. He also served as the Director, Human Resources with Palli Daridro Bimochon Foundation before joining with icddr,b.

# He is the one of the founders of BSHRM and has been providing leadership of HR professionals in Bangladesh and Asia Pacific region.

# He has more than 30 years working experiences in home and away.

# He earned his Master in Continuous Education degree major in HR Leadership and Organization Development from the University of Calgary, Canada.

# Mr. Hossain is the leading HR professional and renowned trainer in home and abroad. He is also the Adjunct Professor of HR in MBA program of many universities

# Under his dynamic leadership, current EC of BSHRM has achieved significant accomplishment and improvement which will be mile stone in the history of BSHRM. I would like to mention some of the achievements, these are:

BSHRM has introduced Post Graduate HR Diploma jointly with United International University;

Build up awareness in implementing separate HR Ministry in Bangladesh;

Current number of BSHRM members has crossed 1200

Financial Growth of BSHRM has increased more than 4 times within last two years

BSHRM has been working in it’s own well equipped office

Significant numbers of Agreement & MOU has been signed with different organization (Like Universities, Training Institutions and many more) for work together under joint collaboration;

For his global thinking and efforts now Bshrm Alliances/ connected with-

Asia Pacific Federation for Human Resources Management (APHRM);

World Federation of People Management Association (WFPMA);

Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM); and Very recently a joint collaboration has been established

with Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM) to work together in different areas of peoples development under which participants from both the countries will be highly benefited

# Dear Audience Mr. Hossain is the recipient of

“Global HR Leadership Award” which Awarded by The Asia Pacific HRM; and

Recipient of Rapport Bangladesh HR Leadership Award.

# Mr. Hossain has delivered keynote presentations in approximately 30 national and international conferences and seminars. He regularly participates in “Talk Show” on emerging Human Resources Management and Development related issues in different television channels in Bangladesh.

# He has been appointed as the Editorial Advisory Board Member of the South Asian Journal of Human Resources Management (SAJHRM) with the renowned HR scholars of the globe like Dave Ulrich, HR Thought Leaders and Professor of Michigan University and Dr. T. V. Rao, HR Guru of Indian sub-continent. This journal has been published by the Griffith University, Australia with the partnership with Sage Publication.

# Mr. Hossain has served as the member of International Jury Board Member for Great HR Leaders Award 2013. Recently, he has been appointed as the Chairman of the newly introduced Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resources Management HR Professional Award Committee.

# Mr. Hossain worked as the active member of academic curriculum committee of the first public university, Kobi Nazrul University who opened HR department in Bangladesh

# Dear Audience, Mr. Hossain is one of the Board member for Asia Pacific Federation for Human Resources Management (APHRM), an apex body of the World Federation of People Management Association (WFPMA).

# He is having a happy family with wife, a Son and a daughter.
