The London Games have inspired us to think differently about our travel

arrangements. We’ve decided to challenge ourselves to each walk/cycle

20 miles of our normal journeys to/from work.

Why?

To raise funds in support of Vimba, a London-based charity dedicated to the fight against

poverty and deprivation throughout Southern Africa.

Our fundraising ambition for 2012 is to raise sufficient funds to sponsor a Feeding and

Education Centre for a year. These centres often provide the only daily meal that some

children will receive. They also often provide teachers and children with the full tummies

needed to focus on learning.

When?

13th – 29th August 2012: We already need to change our travel plans during the Olympic

and Paralympic Games so we decided we’d challenge ourselves during a time when we

could otherwise rely on regular transport.

How can you help?
