THE CONNECTED TRANSPORT SUMMIT

CONNECTED TRANSPORT Summit | December 4, 2017 | Brussels

“Digitalization: A Driver for Transport Decarbonization”

Digital connectivity is transforming mobility and offering unprecedented solutions for making the sector greener. With transport accounting for one quarter of the EU greenhouse gas emissions steering mobility on the road to greater connectivity, efficiency, safety and sustainability is key. But can our current transport systems and governance structures successfully navigate digitalization and the mobility transformation?

Set to launch on December 4 in Brussels, POLITICO’s Connected Transport Summit will map out the disruptions shaping the future of transport in Europe while setting out how the technologies of tomorrow will fit in with infrastructure of today.

Some 120 tech and transport experts, policymakers, regulators and disruptors will meet with POLITICO’s journalists for a half-day of dynamic programming, with interviews, panel discussions and other learning moments to help attendees get smart about the future of transportation in Europe and explore how the digitalization of the transport sector can be a driver for decarbonization.
