Sermon based transformation questions

God Sightings Matthew 2:1-12; 3:1-3, 13-17

1) Have you had "burning bush moments" in your life, where God showed up and made His presence known? Can youshare them?

2) Can you name a "win" worth celebrating over the last 4months, where God did a great thing, where transformationhappened?

3) In what area of your life would you like to see God do awork of transformation this coming year? Inward (worship),Upward (Bible Study), or Outward (serving and faith-sharing)?

4) It's an exciting time at BRC. What are you seeing, hearing, knowing about God's presence & movement at BRCover the past 4 months?

5) Do you come on Sunday mornings to truly worship yourKing, Jesus? For the Magi, it was more than curiosity, givinggifts, it was worship.

6) How are we, like John the Baptist, preparing the way forthe Lord? What can we do in 2017 to help point other to Jesus?

7) I believe we can pray with expectation! What prayerwould you like to pray this year, asking God to show up andbring transformation?

8) What can you do to help focus your attention on"celebrating the wins" this year instead of focusing on all that iswrong in the world?

9) Ask God to not only help you see His presence in thiscoming year, but to be His presence to others this coming year!
