Our Purpose

Enhance educational opportunities for middle and high school children in rural China.

The Problem and How It Effects The World

• In China 72 million children have no education

• Illiteracy often leads to poverty

• When illiteracy levels decline, economic growth increases

How We FeelWe want to help children to get an

education because otherwise poverty would kill them off.

What is being done

• More schools are being built

• Some schools are free of charge

• Donations, petitions

• Volunteers (teaching, fund raising etc.)

OCEF

Overseas China Education Foundation (OCEF)

They are “dedicated to help less-privileged children in rural areas of China to finish their education up to 9th grade.”

What We Like About OCEF

• All donations will be used to help children

• The money is sent to supported schools directly from OCEF

Activities For You to Enjoy

• Pin the tail on the donkey

• Three teams equally divided

• Choose your own group

Directions

We will have questions for the unblindfolded people

• If they get it right the blindfolded person(s) will be guided towards the word

• If wrong, the blindfolded person has to take one step back

Rewards

• Whichever team pins the right word first will get the prize. (candy)
