Greetings Men of Alpha:

It has been an exciting start to this fraternal year! We partnered with the Sphinx Educational Fund to provide one of our largest Thurgood Marshall College Fund Brunches to date. Several brothers traveled to Washington DC to attend the historic opening of Bro. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Memorial. Under the leadership and coordination of Bro. Brendon Riley and his committee, we hosted a productive Western Regional Leadership Conference. We also recently celebrated 62 years as the original Alpha chapter of Arizona and 105 years as a fraternity. As we recognize these initial accomplishments and look forward to the accomplishments to come, we call each of you to join us in the efforts of this your chapter to make a huge positive impact on the Maricopa County community. We were each initiated into this great fraternity from many locations around the globe. Here in the Valley of the Sun we can bring the wisdom, experience and knowledge of all those travels together for the common cause of holding the light of Alpha high for all to see and draw near. We need each of you standing with us as we prepare for the 2012 conference and convention season, launch a Phoenix area Alpha Esquire program and prepare for our spring intake. Please join us at our next chapter meeting, Saturday, January 7, 2012. Repast begins at 6 p.m. Chapter meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. Contact Bro. Michael McClain, our Corresponding Secretary, at [email protected] for confirmation of the meeting location. This meeting is very important to the future of Delta Tau Lambda Chapter as we will be voting on changes to the chapter’s constitution and by-laws. Be blessed my brothers.

Your Chapter President,Bro. Marquis Scott, MEd.
