3NexT International Film Festival 2014

Festivalul Internaional de Film NexT a fost creat n 2006, n onoarea cineatilorCristian Nemescu i Andrei Toncu. n scurt timp, NexT a devenit unul dintre celemai ndrgite evenimente n rndul publicului larg i un loc de ntlnire pentru ceicare triesc i se exprim prin lm. n ecare an, sunt prezentate peste 100 delme de scurt i mediu metraj din toat lumea, grupate n diferite seciuni. Pro-gramul festivalului este completat de o serie de seminarii pe diferite teme, pentru

toi iubitorii celei de-a aptea arte.

NexT International Film Festival was established in 2006, to honor the memoryof director Cristian Nemescu and sound designer Andrei Toncu. NexT has be-come one of the most popular cultural events in Bucharest and a meeting placefor all those who use lms to live their lives and express themselves. Each year,more than 100 short and medium productions from all over the world, dividedinto different sections, are presented. A series of workshops on various themescomplete the festivals program.

Cineatii romni au ansa s participe, pentru prima dat, la concursul The Pitch,n cadrul Festivalului NexT. Organizat de ShortsTV, n parteneriat cu Romtele-com, The Pitch ofer ansa unei nanri de 5.000 de euro pentru produciaunui scurtmetraj.

Candidaii nscrii i acceptai au 2 minute i 15 secunde ca s i vnd ideea n

faa camerei de lmat, n limba englez, pe 3 aprilie. Prezentrile vor postateapoi pe pagina de Facebook a ShortsTV, pe 4 aprilie. Cele cinci prezentri careadun cele mai multe Like-uri pn pe 6 aprilie, vor ajunge pe lista scurt ThePitch. Doar acestea cinci vor prezentate unui juriu care va decide ctigtorul.Acesta va anunat la gala de nchidere a NexT, pe 7 aprilie.

Romanian lmmakers have, for the rst time, the chance to participate in ThePitch contest. Organized by ShortsTV, in partnership with Romtelecom, ThePitch offers the chance of a 5000 funding for the production of a short lm.

Selected applicants will have 2 minutes and 15 seconds to sell his or her idea infront of the camera, in English, on the 3rd of April. On the 4th of April, all the pres -entations will be posted on ShortsTVs Facebook page. The rst ve presenta-tions which get the most Likes until the 6th of April, will get on The Pitch shortlist.

Only these ve will be shown to a jury, who will decide the winner. The latter will beannounced during the NexT Closing Gala, on the 7th of April.

Duminic, 6aprilie, candidaii selecionai la The Pitch vor avea, n plus, ansa s-i prezinteproiectele n faa a unor productori romni i strini, n cadrul unei serii de ntl -niri individuale.

In addition to The Pitch contest, NexT organizes, for the rst time, NexT ShortFilm Market, with the support of Romanian Cultural Institute. On Sunday, the 6thof April, the candidates selected for The Pitch will moreover have the chance topresent their projects in front of Romanian and foreign lm producers, during aseries of individual meeting session.
