A Surface Mounted Vent is a type of Window Ventilator that is fitted onto the window sash or frame covering each side of a pre-cut slot through the window profile allowing fresh air to enter the home. The main part of the vent body covers the inside slot opening, the rate at which fresh air enters can be adjusted by the end user via differing control options. The secondary part of this vent is the hood and grill which covers the outside slot opening and which gives protection against insects and moisture ingress.
