WITH:AWLGRIP® TOPCOATAwlgrip is a high performance polyester urethane topcoat, recognized as THE yacht finish due to its high gloss appearance, lowmaintenance and long lasting finish. For the first time ever, when used with Awlcat #5 and our range of VOC-compliant reducers,every Awlgrip Topcoat color has a VOC content of only 490g/lt or 4.09lbs/gal. Used and mixed with Awlgrip topcoat base in thesame way as our standard converter, Awlcat #5 delivers the same exceptional finish, DOI and quality you expect while meetingthe strictest of regulations.*

WITH:AWLCRAFT® 2000Awlcraft 2000 the two-component, easy to use, fast drying acrylic urethane coating with long lasting gloss and color retentioncan also be used in conjunction with Awlcat #5, resulting in an improved look over the already outstanding finish, as well as manycolors being VOC compliant* and applicable in just two coats.

As with Awlgrip topcoats, Awlcat #5 is used and mixed with Awlcraft 2000 topcoat bases in the same way as our standardconverter, so there’s no change to the way you work.

TOPCOAT CAREAwlwash® and Awlcare® have been specifically developed to ensurethat Awlgrip topcoats last for years.

Using these dedicated ‘fit for purpose’ products will help to eliminatethe premature dulling of the coating that the use of unsuitable, harshcleaners can cause.

Using Awlwash and Awlcare together will provide the safest andmost effective protection for your boat’s Awlgrip topcoat.

USING AWLWASHn Rinse surface thoroughly prior to washing.

n Add 1 ounce of Awlwash per gallon of water.

n Wash surface while still wet from initial rinsing. Use a soft, non-abrasive applicator when washing the surface.

n Do not allow Awlwash to dry on the surface prior to rinsing – wash small sections of large surfaces to insure the surfacestays wet.

n Rinse surface thoroughly after washing.

n When finished, wipe surface with soft cotton towel or chamois to prevent water spots.

USING AWLCAREn Wash surface with Awlgrip Awlwash Wash Down Concentrate, rinse and wipe dry.

n Shake Awlcare well and apply with a 100% cotton applicator or cloth.

n Awlcare can be applied in direct sunlight or in the shade.

n Allow Awlcare to dry to a haze.

n Wipe off haze by hand with a fresh, clean cotton cloth – mechanical buffing is not recommended with Awlcare.

n Note that multiple coats of Awlcare may be needed to protect water runoff areas.

TIP:Remember not to use traditional waxes; they leave residue that attracts dirt and causes the topcoat to appearyellow which increases overall maintenance.
