Our MissionThe mission of the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada is to enlighten the public by promoting a positive understanding of Down syndrome in the community and be a source of support, information and education for families and individuals affected by Down syndrome.

New Parent ProjectMembers of DSOSN create baskets for new parents that include:• Information about
Down syndrome.• Baby supplies such as
diapers, bottles, books and more.• A homemade blanket
made by a member of DSOSN.
The DSOSN Director of Programs and volunteer parents visit the new parents either at the hospital or in their homes.
