DYNAMIC WEIGHING

Weightometers We are accepted as one of the leaders in designing, building, supplying and maintaining any size of weightometer, ranging from single idler to six idler full

�oating weigh frames on any width of belt.

Weigh Feeders When the need arises to control the feed rate of product into a certain process, weigh feeders are being used where the speed of the feeding system can be controlled to adjust the rate to the required set point.

The control sequence can be done directly from our NCS910 controller or via the clients PLC. Various communication protocols available including Modbus, Pro�bus as options.

Platform Scales We o�er a complete range of standard size and capacity platforms as well as purpose build platforms to your speci�cations. Mild Steel and Stainless Steel options are available on most of the models.

STATIC WEIGHING

Force Measurement Applications of standard or purpose build load cell for special force measurement systems, ie: Break force and torque measurement. NCS Industrial & Weighing will design the apparatus necessary to do your force measurement, regardless if it be low capacity break-force to calibration machines. We can also measure break force, displacement and capture the data on a software program for you to check the quality of your product. We can also

measure torque on motors or gearboxes.

Ball Mill WeighingIn order to optimize the performance of your Ball Mill we measure and control the load level by installing load cells

underneath the supports.

OCML Crane monitoringThe OCML 2000 system is a crane movement and lifting monitoring and logging system to enable the owner to get accurate usage reports from his cranes. The system comprises of three units, namely:

mining and industrial markets.

Our experience in the industrial weighing environment and modern technology has given us the advantage of being able to solve most of the challenges that’s

been given to us so far Incorporating our versatile NCS 910 instrument, we can automate new or existing batch plant operations in conjunction with our

personalised Windows based batching software.

Apart from the Wi Fi and Bluetooth connectivity we can also link up with a GSM modem for SMS messages to pre allocated cell numbers.

Because of our continued drive to improve and modernize our equipment, we are pleased to intrduce to you our newest addition to the range of load cell instrumentation that we have to o�er.

This instrument is the result of the experience that we have accumulated over the years on industrial weighing instrument and the solution to all your weighing

frustration.

BELT TRIP MONITORING

The belt trip monitor system monitors the pull-rope trip switches on a belt conveyor. A remote input module is installed at each trip switch and the data is then monitored and captured by the master controller. The master controller communicates with the main server where the status of all switches is displayed in graphical format. The main server can be connected to up to 32 master controllers each with up to 16 remote input modules. Each standard remote input module reads four potentially free inputs.

This gives you a total of 48 inputs per belt that can be monitored. Apart from the

pull-rope switches, the system can also monitor other protection devices on the belt i.e. belt tear devices, belt alignment switches, over speed sensors, motor trip devices, etc.

For additional functionality, the standard remote unit can be replaced with an 8-in-put device. As long as the input is a potential-free contact, it can be connected to the remote input module.

This enables the system to give a complete overview of the belt in the control room.Alarms can be generated for trips.Each trip is also saved as an event to a database with the date and time.

When the trip condition is reset, another event is generated that is saved to the database. A report can be generated to list the events on a speci�c belt. The image below shows the main hardware components of the belt trip system.

Each belt that is con�gured on the server is shown on the right of the main window with a colour-coded status. Green is online andnotrips.Redisonlinewithtripped status and Gray is when the main

controller is o�ine.

When the operator click on a speci�c belt, the belt detail is shown on the mainwindow. On this window the online status of each remote module is shown as well as the tripped status of each trip switch that

is con�gured. The switches are identi�ed asTL(Topleft),TR(TopRight),BL(Bottomleft)andBR(BottomRight)forreportingpurposes.
