Franz Emil Forsberg, 65, 4620 South Second West Street, died yesterday at 8:20 a.m. of apparent natural

causes.

Mr. Forsberg was born in Sweden, July 21, 1877, coming to the United States 45 years ago. He was an

employee of the American Smelting and Refining Company.

In addition to his widow, Mrs. Emma Forsberg, he is survived by a son, Melvin Forsberg, now with the

United

States Army; a brother, Carl Franz Forsberg of Michigan, a half-brother and half-sister.
