Dear Shanghai Centre Residents and Tenants,

Summer is upon us and we are delighted to share good news about the new retail shops and F&B options available for you and your family this year.

Maison Camus, facing Nanjing Road on the ground floor of the complex (and on the second floor) has opened and is a great place for open air dining with family & friends in the semi-outdoor space. This is an especially great spot for the Spring and Summer seasons.

Element Fresh will expand taking over the LensCrafters space with an enlarged kitchen to provide more varieties of their delicious foods. More seating will also be made available on the first floor. They are currently undergoing renovation and are expected to re-open the end of July.

Famous French pastry shop Angelina and a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant will be taking over the Palladio space with nice outdoor dining and special landscaping. Expect both to open sometime in the fall. Also opening soon Hawaiian cuisine by the famous American Chef Alan Wong. He will take over the former hotel Chinese restaurant space on the second level. Finally, the Cantonese restaurant Starz Kitchen will open in the former Lapis Thai space. All this will add more delicious and unique dining options for our tenants and guests.

For our retail shops, famous luxury Italian brand Brunello Cucinelli will be taking over the Loro Piana space. This will be their flagship store in Shanghai and Shanghai Centre is looking forward to their arrival.

時間の経つのは本当に早いものです。上海商城に就職以来間もなく一年になりますが、皆様のお陰で充実の毎日を過ごしました、誠に感謝しております。

4月に上海商城は史上初めてプロボクシングの試合を開催し、恒例家族向けのイベントーファミリーファンフェアも無事迎える事が出来ました。応援してくださってる皆様、本当にありがとうございました。また、6月下旬にお子様向けのサマーキャンプは始まりますので、ご興味のある方はマーケティング部までお問い合わせください。

Founded in 1903 in Paris, ANGELINA, pastry-boutique, restaurant and tea-room, brings to Shanghai Centre over 100 years of tradition in making authentic pastries. A favorite of Coco Chanel, ANGELINA will offer a range of refined sweet specialities like hot chocolate (in a bottle or in powder form), chestnut cream, teas, jams, sweets, cookies and more. The new shop will open in the fall and will be located at the East Retail Plaza, adjacent to the East Resident Tower entrance.

Newer, larger andgreener element fresh

Over a decade ago element fresh opened its first restaurant in Shanghai Centre. In June the restaurant will go through an extensive renovation including taking over the former LensCrafters space on the second level. Along with an expanded juice bar & kitchen and dining facilities, the updated restaurant will have double glazed windows, 100% LED lighting, and use eco-friendly finishes and materials. Expect the newer, larger and greener element fresh Shanghai Centre to be back open for business in July.

The Ritz-Carlton CakeThe Ritz-Carlton cake offers a presentation that would make a beautiful, thoughtful gift and a cake that carries the history of the Ritz-Carlton. REGUS signs on the dotted line

REGUS celebrated the opening of their 1000 sqm office at Shanghai Centre with an official signing ceremony. At the press event, hosted by Camus Lounge, Mr. Hans Leijten, Vice-president of REGUS East Asia (right of Kurt Sigouin, Shanghai Centre Property Services Director) briefed the attendees on the past and current achievements of the fast growing leader in serviced offices. The stylish kiosks at Shanghai Centre were designed by Solari Architecture & Design.The firm was founded by Federico Solari, a Venice born architect who has been living in Shanghai for over six years. The firm designed four kiosks, all conveniently located on the ground level of the complex. Simply Life, Alice Flower, and the World Health Store occupy the kiosks adjacent to the West Resident Tower entrance. Located at the East Resident Tower entrance is the Garden Bookskiosk. Another FFF hit!The 2nd annual Shanghai Centre Family Fun Fair was a huge hit! Over 2000 parents and kids enjoyed all areas of the Shanghai Centre complex for a day of fun for everyone. A farmer's market had yummy food vendors while school bands performed for the crowd. Activities included laser tag, skate-boarding classes, gym activities, soccer training and even a Cardboard Shanghai Art Competition. A very big thank you to our sponsors and activity providers! Theatre Line-upIt was a busy spring-season at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. Jazz fans got to enjoy pianist Burnett Thompson, trumpet player Till Bronner, local jazz star Coco Zhao and Eddie Gomez. Dance lovers were introduced to classical Indian folk dance and we had three fantastic choir performances by the Shanghai Inter- national Chorus Music festival. We were also fortunate enough to receive a visit from the Philadelphia Philharmonic orchestra. For the kids, Arnie Kolodner's Magical School of Wizards was back for another series of magic shows. Biking for charity

216 hardcore bikers, 12 hours of non-stop spinning. . .that was the challenge we faced. No problem for the team at Spinback Fitness. All seats were sold out in no time and all money collected on the day went to Mifan Mama, Second Chance Animal Aid and Shanghai Sunrise.

A night of fightingOver 600 fans witnessed the first ever live boxing event at the Shanghai Centre Atrium. The usually sereen fourth floor Atrium was transformed into an action packed boxing arena, ring girls and all. Feedback from the fans was so good that we're considering holding more events in the future. Let's keep our gloves crossed!
