How do you feel student learning was impacted for those who participated in this program? The presenter was extremely engaging and made it a point to connect with the children. The other thing I appreciated was that he brought quite a few examples to the table and gave the children a lot to think about. The kids in Ms. Yates' class are working with me and the US Forest Service in a Project Archaeology Program. This gave them a better understanding that archaeology isn't just in the ground.

Did you as an educator, gain new knowledge or skills from participating in this program? Sorry. I have an MA in Maritime History/Nautical Archaeology. I've got a background there and also a background working with kids. What I was able to see of it, though, I thoroughly enjoyed. I WISH the Craig group had been there when he was talking to Hollis about the importance of "not taking stuff home." He was incredibly articulate about that bit, and it would have been nice for the kids to hear that from someone OTHER THAN "Miss Amy" and "Mr. Marshall." Having another professional say that could only reinforce it.

Would you recommend this program to others?Yes

Why or why not?A THOUSAND TIMES YES! It was engaging, informative, and the children were learning without even realizing it. Great job!

Comments:It is a testament to how well you did that, when your bridge timed you out, there was COPIOUS MOANING AND GROANING and Oh No-s! throughout the library. Excellent connection and excellent content!
