BringCom Northern Virginia Teleport BringCom’s Washington, D.C. Metro-area teleport is located in Sterling, VA. The 3.5 acre facility is 35 miles west of Washington, D.C. and just minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). Licensed by the FCC for C- and Ku-Band operations, the teleport is ideally situated for both government and commercial customers requiring quick response, redundancy, back-up or restoration services. These services are available on long-term lease, month-to-month or occasional-use basis. The facilities are in the final phases of receiving upgrades to achieve USG MAC-III certification. BringCom also anticipates being included in the GSA purchasing schedule in 2013. Orbital Arc and Operational Antennas Orbital ARC: Bringcom Northern Virginia Teleport can view satellites from 221°E to 348°E. The teleport is zoned and permitted for up to 13 antennas, so it can accommodate an additional seven antennas. Bringcom Northern Virginia Teleport currently offers satellite access via five operational antennas: 9.2 Meter C-band on NSS 10 with 4 port linear feed in both polarizations 9.2 Meter C-band on IS901 with 4 port circular feed in both polarizations 5.6 Meter Ku-band on Amazonas 2 with a 4 port feed 3.8 Meter Ku-band on Galaxy16 3.8 Meter Ku-band available for missions within the visible Arc All BringCom’s operational antennas have de-icing capabilities and 24x7 NOC for remote and real-time performance monitoring with 3-tier response. Fiber Connectivity BringCom’s Nothern Virginia Teleport offers extensive Tier 1 POP access to multi-gigabit fiber links in North America, including: Verizon Century Link Level3 XO Power Infrastructure 150 KVA UPS with redundant sub units; two at 50 KVA for production network, NOC operations and RF systems. Dual 230 KVA diesel generators with automatic switching. Facilities & Security Fully climate controlled facility with 24x7 controlled access to grounds.
