Leader: It’s time to give!
People: Praise the Lord!
Leader: Has God been good to you?
People: The Lord is blessing us right now.
Leader: It’s time to give our tithe!
People: The tithe belongs to the Lord because the Bible says, “And all the tithe of the
land, whether of the seed of the land or fruit of the tree, it is the Lord’s. It is holy to the
Lord.” (Leviticus 27:30)
Leader: Who should tithe?
People: “...Let every one of you lay by Him in store, as God has prospered
him…..” (I Corinthians 16:2)
Leader: Why should we tithe?
People: “We give because we love the Lord and recognize that the Lord is the source
of our past, present, and future blessings.” (Psalm 116:1, 14)
Leader: Should we tithe on our gross or net income?
People: “You shall truly tithe all the increase of your seed, that the field brings forth
from year to year.” (Deuteronomy 14:22)
Leader: How much should we tithe?
People: “Abraham gave a tenth of all he had.” (Hebrews 7:4)
Leader: What is God’s promise to those who tithe?
People: “I will open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that you will not
have room to receive it.” (Malachi 3:10)
Leader: How should I give today?
People: God loves a cheerful giver. (II Corinthians 9:7)
Leader: What should I expect?
People: “Give and it shall be given to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken to-
gether, running over, shall it be poured into your life. For with the same measure you
give, it shall be returned to you again.” (Luke 6:38)

Operation Be the Church
Holy Communion Sunday This do in remembrance of me.
I Corinthians 11:24
The Benefits of Wisdom My child listen to what I say, and treasure my commands. 2 Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. 3 Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. 4 Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. 5 Then you will understand what it means to fear the LORD, and you will gain knowledge of God. 6 For the LORD grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. 8 He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him. 9 Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. 10 For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy. 11 Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe. 12 Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted. 13 These men turn from the right way to walk down dark paths. 14 They take pleasure in doing wrong, and they enjoy the twisted ways of evil. 15 Their actions are crooked, and their ways are wrong. 20 So follow the steps of the good, and stay on the paths of the righteous. 21 For only the godly will live in the land, and those with integrity will remain in it. 22 But the wicked will be removed from the land, and the treacherous will be uprooted.
Proverbs 2:1-15, 20-22 NLT (New Living Translation)
“From eternity to eternity I am God.
No one can snatch anyone out of my hand.
No one can undo what I have done.” Isaiah 43:13

Holy Communion Sunday Today’s Service, Sunday, September 17, 2017
10:00am—10:15am Time of Preparation….The Altar is open for Prayer
THERE IS POWER IN THE BLOOD
Would you be free from the burden of sin?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Would you o’er evil a victory win?
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.
Refrain
There is pow’r, pow’r, wonder-working pow’r
In the blood of the Lamb;
There is pow’r, pow’r, wonder-working pow’r
In the precious blood of the Lamb.
Would you be free from your passion and pride?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Come for a cleansing to Calvary’s tide-
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.
Refrain
Would you do service for Jesus your King?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Would you live daily His praises to sing?
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.
Refrain
GIVE TO THE WORK OF GOD
“Give and it shall be given to you,
good measure, pressed down,
shaken together, running over,
shall it be poured into your life.
For with the same measure you give,
it shall be returned to you again.” (Luke 6:38)
