Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (FIOH), will concentrate on injuries in E-commerce and IBVwill provide tools to model the biomechanics of the injuriesThe total value of the project is 1.6M euros approximately.Objectives:Set of ergonomics tools suitable for expert and non-expert ergonomists to evaluate work in electronicsmanufacturing, automobile manufacture and offices.Software platform to implement the evaluation toolsInjury reduction tools to help reduce high-risk levels for problematic tasks across each industry.My Role as Research Assistant:

Industrial investigation of bad postures & tasks for repetitive jobs in electronics manufacturing industries,Ireland. Designing of the experiments to evaluate the discomfort and EMG activity of muscles by simulating therepetitive jobs related to wrist & forearm. Preparing the experimental setup based on interfacing of Instruments e.g. electro-goniometers, force meter,grip meter, torque meter & EMG amplifiers with PC using LABVIEW coding.
