The scene changes with Roger appearing to wake up in a field of flowers in Toontown. Roger OPENS his eyes and lets out a deep YAWN, while the beginning portions of THE WILLIAM TELL OVERTURE (THE MORNING SONG) plays in the background.

ROGERWhat a beautiful morning. The sun and flowers are smiling. The birds are tweeting. The trees are about to eat me...Aaahhh!

Roger quickly dashes away, leaving only a RABBIT-SHAPED DUST CLOUD behind.

Roger runs and suddenly one of the KILLER TREES APPEARS IN FRONT OF Roger's path, bringing Roger to a SCREECHING HALT. TIRE SCREECHING SOUND.

FUDD TREEI'm gonna cook me a wabbit stew!

ROGERAaahhh!

Roger escapes the hungry tree and continues to run until he runs off a cliff. Roger realizes he has nothing to run on and waves goodbye to the camera before plummeting into darkness.

Roger is in complete darkness with only his eyes showing.

ROGERHey who turned off the lights!?

WEASLE GANGWe did! Hahahahahah!

FLAMES erupt around Roger, revealing Doom's gang of weasels in "devil outfits." Roger begins to shake uncontrollably.

WEASLE GANGTime to get dipped, rabbit!

Roger SCREAMS as the dip is thrown towards the camera.

ROGERShoot, still no stars.

Roger slowly exits the trunk of the car, becoming aware of his surroundings.

ROGER (frantic)

How did I get all the way to Toontown? I've gotta hide before those weasels find me! Please, let me find a way to escape!

Roger turns around and sees the car behind him.

ROGER (joyful)

Hooray! I'm saved! Now, where are those keys?

Roger begins searching the car for the keys. While searching for the keys, Roger finds a telegram from R.K. Maroon, the head of Maroon Studios and Roger's boss. Roger begins reading the telegram aloud.

ROGERMrs. Rabbit, I’m growing impatient. You were supposed to get closer to Acme and convince him to reconsider my offer. Cloverleaf is ready to feed me to the wolves, and I'm running out of time! I told you if you ever want Roger to work in this town again...

Roger begins to slow down and is ready to burst into tears.

ROGER(cont.)play patty-cake with Acme tonight, and I'll make sure that he sells. -R.K. Maroon

Roger exits the car and sits down on the curb.

ROGEROh Jessica, I wish I could show how much I love you... wait, I can! Don't worry Jessica, I'm going to clear my name, and give that R.K. Maroon a piece of my mind! But first, I better find a car with some keys.

Roger begins hopping and skipping down the street and begins reciting his love letter to Jessica while fading away in the distance.

ROGERDear Jessica, How I love thee. Let me count the ways. 1-1000, 2-1000, 3-1000, 4-1000, 5-1000.
