  Managed Sales for Canada and International Markets, initially, then in 2005 responsible for all Gemtex sales

Directed a direct Sales/Marketing/customer service team of 11 plus outside sales agents

Successfully launched new products, line extensions, and product modifications for industrial abrasives product for worldwide distribution from our factories in Toronto and Georgia.

Designed and implemented comprehensive training programs integrating literature, packaging, ideal product applications, and cross merchandising guides.

Implemented new sales strategy that reduced the total number of customers buying direct from the factory while at the same time increasing sales for industrial wholesalers.  The net result was improved bottom line and greater efficiency throughout the organization.

Successfully took a major retail account from a lacklustre performer with 25 SKU’s renowned for low growth and margins into a dynamic 150 SKU business at high margins.  Sales increased 500% in 24 months.

Manage all sales for five divisions of Katy Industries through widely varied channels of distribution including Sanitary Maintenance, Food Service, Industrial Abrasives, and retail.

Successfully transformed a slow growth business into a high growth business at 35% compounded sales at the highest margins in the company. 

Opened up new markets in Eastern Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Created our first International Warehouse in Monterrey, Mexico in April 2001 then developed the second in Lodz, Poland in May 2001.
