Brett Blakemore Brett holds a degree in music performance on the guitar and has been teaching for over 10 years. While earning his music degree from Missouri Western State University, he extensively studied jazz and classical guitar. He enjoys teaching students of all skill levels how to take their playing to the next level. Brett has experience teaching rock, pop, blues, jazz, country, and classical music. He also teaches music theory and improvisation. Making the lessons as fun as they are educational is very important to Brett. Teaching guitar is a craft that he has been working on for over a decade. The classroom isn't the only place you'll find Brett. He can be found performing with numerous bands around the Kansas City area up to four nights a week.
