As an engineering and project management firmin the field of tidal turbines, SABELLA installedthe first French submarine tidal turbine “SabellaD03”, 3 m diameter, in 2008.

"Sabella D10", a 1 MW and 10 m tidal turbine themanufacturing of which is being finalized, willbe ready for laying this spring before beingconnected to the Ushant island power grid.

SABELLA is currently working on the Frenchtender “AMI fermes pilote hydroliennes” as wellas prospecting the worldwide tidal energymarket.

GUINARD ENERGIESDesigner of tidal turbines

GUINARD ENERGIESwas created in 2008, by a team ofFrench industrial sector managers, the aim being todesign MegaWattBlue®, a second generation ductedtidal turbine. The first industrial demonstrator (250kw), will be installed in France in the coming months.
