Re-developments, including an upgrade of the Temple Terrace and Stuart Highway intersection.

The Country Liberals is building the Palmerston Regional Hospital on a site that allows for future expansion.

The first stage of the hospital will offer medical and surgical services, including cardiology, cancer services and pediatric services.

The Country Liberals’ built Palmerston Regional Hospital will be bigger and better than any other proposal that failed to get off the ground.

It will be the hospital that Palmerston and rural residents deserve for generations to come.

Increasing Housing Affordability Over $80m will be invested across the Territory to fast track land release and bring on two new suburbs near Palmerston as the Country Liberals Government continues to drive down the cost of living.

Palmerston’s youngest suburb, Zuccoli, has been injected with $36.9m to fast track the development the final stages which will bring on 1 750 dwellings over the coming years. Land for these dwellings comes in at an average price between $160,000 - $180,000, much more affordable than other recent developments.

Eight million dollars has also been identified for

initial headworks for the development of Berrimah Farm and also Stage 1 of Holtze which is located north east of Palmerston.

These two developments could provide as many as 4,250 dwellings over the coming years.

Local Brennan constituent Gloria Tatau is moving to Queensland. She very kindly donated this beautifully crafted bird statue from the Tiwi Islands to the local electorate office for others to appreciate.

Budget 2014 provides for a start on Palmerston Regional Hospital with headworks, and planning and design of roads.

Fast tracking land releases are part of our Government’s plan take pressure off the cost of living.
