why should I drink water?Water is one of the most effective and natural ways of sustaining a healthy lifestyle. Water stands out as the world’s most important fundamentals in its existence, next to oxygen. With eight glasses recommended for the average person’s daily consumption, although this is just a normal lifestyle, it exemplifies how one should maintain the 70% water composition in the human body.

WATER: HOW AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO THE BODY?

• A lot of metabolic processes happen in the middle part of the body. The breathing process heavily relies on water.

• In the digestive system, water is still king. In the intestines it facilitates the absorption of various compounds as well as cleansing it. Process such as hydrolysis; transformation of food into absorb able elements to require water.

• Water is also detoxification agent. It facilitates excretion of waste from the organs and transports waste to respective outlets.

• The skin requires water in order to avoid cracking, discoloring or shedding off.

• Stand close to the pan or urinal so you don’t dribble urine on floor.

• Avoid messing the toilet seat. If you do, clean up the toilet properly

• We clean up after eating foods because it is vital for our surroundings to be clean. As a courtesy for the next user of eating area, we must not leave without making sure that the area is clean and free from any unwanted smell and leftovers that may cause illness. It is also important to brush our teeth and wash our hands after eating.

• Cleaning our surrounding before eating is essential for us to have a nice area for eating. Washing your hands before eating, wiping the table, plates and other utensils must be a part of our practice when it comes to good and healthy eating habits.
