Enclosed you will find information on upcoming club meetings and 4-H events including the 4-H Speech/Demo Contest! It’s never too late to start working on a speech or demo. I hope you will all showcase your talents! We also have 4-H Shooting Sports Sign-ups this month. We are look-ing forward to a busy and exciting month in 4-H!

Youth Livestock Club Members

The next club meeting will be Monday, March 6th at 6 p.m. (ct) in the Extension Farmers’ Market & Educational Facility.

Bug Club

The next club meeting will be Tuesday, March 14th from 4 to 6 p.m. (ct)

in the Extension Office Basement.

4-H Puppy Pals

Puppy Pals will meet on Thursday, March 2nd, 16th, 23rd and 30th at

6 p.m. (ct) at Lazy Jim Day Dog Training Facility (6396 West Hwy 60 Hardinsburg, KY 40143).

The club meeting on Thursday, March 9th will be in the Extension Office Basement at 6 p.m. (ct).

Skillathon is Saturday, March 4th

Members will be visiting the nursing home at 1 p.m. (ct) on Sunday, March 26th.

Family, Friends and Food Club

The next meeting will be Tuesday, March 28th at 4:30 p.m. (ct) in the

Extension Office Basement.

BRECKINRIDGE COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL 4-H Outdoor Adventurers/Science Club

The club will meet on Tuesday, March 7th and Tuesday, March 21st from 3 to 4 p.m. (ct) in

Career Club

Teen Corner Teen Leadership Academy

Teen Leadership Academy will meet Wednesday, March 22nd in the LaRue County Extension Office.

The group will meet and leave the Breckinridge County Extension Office at 7 a.m. (ct) The topic for the day is “Communications /Public Speaking.”

Basic first aid; knot tying; how to build a fire; plant and tree ID; and MORE!

International Night The Homemakers will be hosting their annual International Night on Thursday, March 23rd at 5:30 p.m.

(ct) in the Extension Farmers’ Market & Educational Facility. Danielle Cubic will be sharing about her time spent in the West Indies. Plus additional highlights from other guests. Some will be 4-H members.

Everyone is invited to attend and bring an internationally inspired dish to share for the potluck meal.

New Beginning Class The New Beginning group meets once a month and focuses on making healthy choices in eve-
