Held twice a year in Berlin, Germany, the popular fashion trade show Bread & Butter’s Summer 2012 edition was held from 4-6 July with the catchphrase ‘The Rock’. The event organised by Karl-Heinz Müller was divided under different exhibition and activity areas such as Fashion Now, Sport & Street, Style Society, Temple of Denim, Treasury, L.O.C.K., Urban Superior, D.O.C.K., Street Fashion and Denim Base. New concepts – both in terms of fashion trends and exhibition display trends were seen. It saw participation from some of the major retail names from across Germany, Spain, The Netherlands, France, Italy and England such as New Balance, PUMA, DKNY Active Shoes, adidas Originals, Converse, GUESS Jeans, Hilfiger Denim, Lee Cooper, Pepe Jeans London, VANS, Wrangler, 7 For All Mankind, Jean Paul, Calvin Klein Jeans Footwear, et cetera. Many novel denim styles evolved and coloured denims, ranging from pastels to bright were shown by various brands. Besides, new style directions in casualwear and footwear rocked the show as well. The event also saw the Denim Religion Fashion show - forecasting new trends, Sport & Street Festival, while after-parties kept the business fraternity busy. Organisers announced that the next, winter edition of B&B will be held from 15 to 17 January, 2013.
