The day was October 7, 2010.It was a Thursday. It dawned clear and cool, then warmed up nicely for midafternoon.
Your 43,000 neighbours spent that day as they usually do: they went to school; they worked; they played; they lived.
Among them were three Brandon Sun photographers. In shifts, Bruce Bumstead, Colin Corneau and Tim Smith fanned out to document a single 24-hour period in the life of Brandon.
Coordinated by Matt Goerzen and laid out by Grant Hamilton, who also shot video throughout the day, this project shows just a small por-tion of the life that bustles in — and above — our city.
Check brandonsun.com for more photos, for outtakes and for video. Then, keep your camera ready next month for an assignment of your own.
Here is the best of what we saw, when we examined a typical day in the life of Brandon.
