MPACs Residential Sate Price Index measures average sate price trends in the province for all residentialproperties. MPACs benchmark is January 1, 2008 - the legislated valuation date for Ontario's lastprovince-wide Assessment Update.

For example, ifa property sold for $350,000 on January 1, 2008 then, on average, the average sale price ofthat property on January 1, 2012 would be 5409,500 - an increase of 17%.
