Proposal Preparation
• 12-point font (single-spaced okay)• 8-1/2 by 11-inch pages—numbered and with one-
inch margins• Proposal narrative must not exceed fifteen (15)
pages (excluding cover sheet, abstract, budget, budget narrative, résumés, or appendices
• All parts of the application must be submitted together, using appropriate forms
• 4 copies and one original must be submitted

• Indirect costs charged to the grant cannot exceed 8%

• Panel of reviewers will read the applications and score each according to the criteria in the RFA
• Panel will make recommendations as to funding and adjustments
• The Secretary of Higher Education will review all panel evaluations and make final selection
