Umkehrfunktion
Fur die Funktion
f : R → R ,x 7→ y = f (x)
heißt die Funktion
g : R → R ,y 7→ x = g(y)
(globale) Umkehrfunktion falls fur alle x ∈ R gilt
g(f (x)) = x.
Man schreibt g =: f−1.
•Graph der Umkehrfunktion
Man erhalt den Graphen der Umkehrfunktion durchSpiegelung des Funktionsgraphen an der Winkelhal-bierenden y = x.
• Berechnung der Umkehrfunktion
Man berechnet die Umkehrfunktion zu y = f (x),indem man die Gleichung nach x auflost (wenn diesmoglich ist), d.h. x = g(y) ermittelt.
