    1.0 Overview

    It is our pleasure to have this opportunity to do this business proposal of Love Agro

    Travel Agency. Most of all, I would like to thank for the guidance and advices from

    lecturer of Business Professional Communication. Throughout the process to complete

    this project, we have learnt a lot and understand more deeply about the details of business

    proposal.

    In this term proposal, we would like to explain further the meaning of business name,

    Love Agro Travel Agency and the background of the industry in the nature of business,

    our basic job responsibility and the reasons for decide to operate a travel agency.

    Meanwhile, we would like to introduce travel packages which available in our company.

    Next, is explaining about size of Love Agro Travel Agency, where did we obtain our

    capital and how we do spend our capital.

    Furthermore, we would like to explain about the reasons for choosing Kuala Lumpur

    Sentral as our company office.

    Last but not least, we would like to appreciate the effort and cooperation from our

    instructor, Mrs Noorasbahan Binti Shahizan and each of the members in Love Agro

    2.0 Name of Business

    Love Agro Travel Agency, is a descriptive business name. Descriptive business is generic

    and easy to create brand awareness and customer easier to identify our main concept of

    service. The word of agrostands for agriculture or meaning of agro industry with the

    word of love as adjective. Thus, love agro is meaning as our main stream travel

    agency concept is all about agriculture. The reason why we choose love agrois because

    it is easier to remember meanwhile can create brand awareness among the market.

    3.0 Background of Love Agro Travel Agency

    3.1 Nature of Business

    In the nature of business, we would like to explain the definition of agro tourism, the

    included activities and the background of agro tourism in Malaysia.

    Agro tourism or known as agritourism, is the combination of agriculture and

    tourism which includes visit to the agriculture sites, such as farm to enjoy and experience

    the various aspects of agriculture lifestyle. Agro tourism is including few incorporate

    elements of entertainment, shopping, education and food.

    Agro tourism is also known as intersection of tourist development and various

    activity in rural areas which the visitors has the opportunity to get involve in agricultural

    sites, agricultural occupations, local products, traditional cuisine and also the local

    cultural element. As the saying goes, kills two birds with one stone. Travelers of agro

    tourism can get closer to the natural and can have the pleasure of entertaining and

    discovering.

    Agro tourism has been started officially by Malaysia in Ninth Malaysia Plan

    (9MP) to create awareness among public and encourage people to explore the agricultural

    industry. Government tried to improve and diversify the agricultural products by the

    participation of private sectors. A main component of agro tourism in Malaysia is the

    homestay program, which increases participation of the rural population in tourism-

    related activities and provides rural households opportunities to supplement their incomes.

    3.2 Service Oriented

    The job responsibility of a travel agency is working as a one-stop service oriented

    organization. Job responsibility of a travel agency is including communicate with

    customer efficiently, first class services and always update travel package based on

    current trend.

    Love Agro Travel Agency communicates with clients efficiently to stay front of mind

    with existing and new clients. The communication tools are by phone calls, short

    messaging service, and emailing. Phone calls are to give customer further information of

    their tourism plans because perhaps customer can have a short Q&A (question and

    answer) section with our sales agent and we may answer all their question on spot. Short

    messaging service is working as reminder for customer, such as schedule for their

    tourism plan, time for depart, do and dont. Meanwhile, emailing is for explain tourism

    plan in full notes form, it is essential for online customer. Online customer is those

    customer did not have time to consult in our company by face-to-face, our transaction is

    all go through by online.

    First class services, is to provide customer excellent quality and reasonable price from

    before transaction, while transaction and after transaction. In here, transaction is

    meaning as vacation or travel. Before transaction, is a presentation of our products and

    services to new or existing customer based on their requirements. At this stage, we must

    figure out the best and suitable travel package based on customer requirement and

    expectation, explain each of details on the package patiently and resolve any hesitation of

    questions for customers. Next, while the period of traveling we must resolve the problem

    face by customer efficiently to ensure they can enjoy their trip well and safely. Lastly,

    after transaction is refer to survey the satisfaction level of customer after the vacation and

    we may correct and improve our travel plans. As the saying goes, learn from mistaken.

    On the other hand, we also always update travel package based on current trend. For

    instances, current trend is customer prefer economic package compare to luxury travel

    package. Thus, we may organize economic travel package or low cost package. It is vital

    for a company to fulfill the elements of brand equity. The elements of brand equity are

    perceived quality, brand loyalty and brand awareness. The element of perceived quality is

    to ensure the price is reasonable with the service quality to make sure our service is better

    than customer expectation. Brand loyalty, since our travel package can fulfill the current

    trend in travel industry thus customer will pay more attention on company product

    compare to others agency. Brand awareness, we must ensure our travel package not only

    on the current trend but also with better price, better service among other travel agencies.

    In the nutshell, as a service oriented it is essential to fulfill the satisfaction level and

    expectation of customer and keep improving of our brand equity by communicating with

    customer efficiently, first class services and always update travel package based on

    current trend.

    3.3 Reason for choosing Agro Tourism

    There are few reasons for choosing Agro Tourism, which is a potential market, support

    from government, and can fulfill the society responsibility.

    As the saying goes by Ngiam Foon, the president of Malaysian Association of Tour and

    Travel Agents (Matta) Agro tourism is a niche market and at the moment, it does not has

    a high profile here. But it definitely has a lot potential. Nowadays, is getting more people

    would like to travel at rural areas with natural scenarios compare to travel in the hub of

    city surrounds by the skyscrapers. The United State of Department of Agriculture (USDA)

    has investigated the reasons of traveler made trips to farm.

    From the above result, we may conclude that most of the people would like to enjoy the

    rural scenery, or natural view.

    Besides that, support from government is also one of the reasons for choosing

    agro tourism. In the ninth Malaysia plan (Rancangan Malaysia ke-9), government did

    introduced As such, the management of 11 of the Malaysian Tourism Board will adopt

    private sector business practices in order to become more dynamic. In addition, main

    programs that will be implemented by the Government include enhancing access and

    facilities for tourist arrivals, and improvise as well as maintain amenities and

    infrastructure. An expenditure of RM1 billion has been allocated for the purpose of

    maintenance. By the year 2010, our target is to attract 24.6 million tourists per annum.

    Meanwhile, the government also introduced the New Agriculture program by giving

    focus to enhancing the value chain, cultivating high value added agricultural activities

    and large-scale commercial farming, utilizing ICT as well as exploiting the full potential

    of biotechnology.

    On the other hand, we may fulfill our society responsibility to enhance the income

    of small holders and farmers. Through agro tourism, those owners of the tourism spot can

    generate their income, provide on-farm jobs for family members, and can keep the

    survival and extend of their farm and others agro-based business. For examples, home

    stay, agriculture product, and development of the rural areas.

    Love Agro Travel Agency office is locating at level 16, Jalan Stesen Sentral 5, 50470 KL

    Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

    approximately 1.022 acres. Our office has been organized into few sections, which are

    administration department, customer service department, meeting room and pantry. Other

    than that, the facilities in the building tower also can be utilized by Love Agro Travel

    Agency, such as mini auditorium, gymnasium and recreational area.

    5.0 Location

    Love Agro Travel Agency is locating at level 16, Jalan Stesen Sentral 5, 50470 KL

    Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur Sentral is well known as the hub of the

    Kuala Lumpur City and included as a part of the Multimedia Supercorridor (MSC)

    projects. There are few reasons for choosing Kuala Lumpur Sentral as Love Agro Travel

    Agency main office, this location is ease to access, in the hub of the city, and completed

    with variety of amenities.

    Office of Love Agro Travel Agency is easy access by public transportation, is

    only take 10 minutes walking distances from the office to the bus station, KTM komuter,

    monorail, LRT station and ERL transit. The bus station of Kuala Lumpur Sentral is one

    inspiration of motto comes from our aim to serve our customer to experience a joyful andenjoyable trip with our travel agent. We strongly believed that all customer wish to enjoy

    their trip without any trouble and problem happened and is our responsibility to ensure

    everything going as schedule from the time they depart until end up the trip. Meanwhile,

    our responsibility also includes make sure each of the customers can enjoy the beauty of

    nature in the agro tourism trip. Besides that, to fulfill the responsibility of being an agro

    tourism agency we will encourage the concept of recycle and reuse through give a recycle

    1. The meaning of the name of our company Love Agro Travel Agency is the travel

    agency that provides the travel package which related to the agriculture.

    2. The color of the words Love Agro is indigo. It conveys integrity and deep

    sincerity to our customers. It also stimulates creativity and intuition.

    3. The color of the words Travel Agency is sky blue. The blue color use in thewords indicate confidence, reliability and responsible. It inspires wisdom and higher

    ideals.

    4. The four-leaf clover in love shape is represented our company which is Love

    with its origin ages old.
