We met in 2004 in San Antonio, Texas and have been married for 12 years. We love to spend time with family and friends. We also enjoy spending time outdoors exploring new places and cultures. We have faced many challenges in life yet always remained strong in love, faith, and family.

We faced challenges in growing our family due to a low sperm condition. We went through 2 IVF cycles that did not result in a pregnancy. A month after the last IVF cycle, we faced yet another challenge. Dinorah was riding her bicycle and was hit by a truck. The accident nearly killed her but with lots of love, faith, family and friends, we were able to overcome this challenge as well.

Now that we are in a better place, we are ready to begin a new journey with you. We know in our hearts that adoption is the perfect way to grow our family with a child and birth parent.

ALL ABOUT NIK BY DINORAH

Nik is my partner in life, best friend, cheerleader, and simply the best thing that ever happened in my life. He loves art, music, painting and creative projects. Nik is respectful, funny, humble, kind, hard working, smart, easy going and extremely loving. He has a way of making everyone in a room feel welcomed. Kids love Nik! They enjoy playing with him, being around him and look up to him.

Nik is always trying to learn more including Spanish. My parents are most comfortable speaking Spanish. Over the years, Nik has learned a few Spanish words and is able to communicate with them. I appreciate and value his effort to learn a new language to be able to bond with my parents.

ALL ABOUT DINORAH BY NIK Dinorah is my best friend and the person I trust more than anyone in the world. She enjoys doing physical activities outside, cooking and baking. She even convinced me to go sky diving and ride a hot air balloon. Dinorah is able to motivate those around her to work towards their goals through her example. The best things about Dinorah are that she is loving, caring, compassionate, determined and family oriented. She goes the extra mile for the nieces and nephews to make sure they know they are loved and makes their day. Dinorah also learned Spanish as her first language. She is able to speak, write and read in Spanish. She communicates with her entire family in Spanish. When we visit different places her ability to speak Spanish has come very handy.

HOME LIFE

These area few highlights of our home life:

• Quiet neighborhood across the street from an elementary school

• Access to 3 parks within walking distance and 2 trailheads where we ride our bikes and jog

• Daily walks with Maverick, our dog

• Maverick loves walks , treats and spending time with family and friends

We believe that life has brought you and us together for a bigger purpose that will lead to a lifelong bond.  

We have all been through many challenging times. We will face more in the years to come. Yet, together we can make it through those challenging times and come out stronger.
