Annie Hall is a new prestigious hair & beauty spa located in the famous historical district of Patriarch’s Ponds. The salon has the ambition to become a real leisure place for young Muscovites: in addition to a beautiful hairstyle or manicure, weekly parties are organized with a glass of fizz and a good film. Our importer FORT associated Bouvet Instinct Brut Vintage to the Annie Hall launch party on December 22nd 2012.

Opened in 2006, Filimonova & Yankel was the first restaurant of the concept « Fish House » in Moscow. It’s named after its founders Natalia Filimonova and Yankel Shein. Thanks to the success of the concept, nowadays Filimonova & Yankel has been transformed into a network of four restaurants. They offer a very large choice of fish dishes pairing them with Bouvet Ladubay wines.

An Indian Summer in the Loire Valley

Here in Saumur, at Bouvet Ladubay, the “Indian Summer” doesn’t have the same connotations as for our English speaking cousins. For us, the Indian Summer is not a reference to climate, it’s something completely different, it’s the HARMONY developed over seven years with our Indian owner, United Spirits. The culture of Freedom, maintained by Dr Mallya and his group, is based on confidence and, of course, on the results that follow. So at the end of this first 7 year cycle we have managed to obtain what we were dreaming of. In this plan for the future there were objectives of not only quality but also quantity, the creation of a new winery to achieve these objectives, and the ability to self-finance. I have always thought that the greatest chefs don’t cook in a building’s cellar. It’s the same concept regarding wine: extremely modern and dynamic equipment and a little bit of talent are needed to make high-quality wines. After releasing to the press what we wished to do, from an external point of view, the plan looked dubious and for many people (professionals) unrealistic. But now, 5 years after opening

our new winery « Full Metal », our annual production has increased by 85%. With regards to quality, I can refer to the medals and awards received over the past 5 years: 150 of them can be added to 390 others already obtained since 1970, giving us a total of 540 medals and awards over the last 43 years. For me, that’s the INDIAN SUMMER, and it’s also a little bit of this radiant and peaceful atmosphere that every Bouvet Ladubay’s admirer finds when sharing a happy moment with friends by drinking a glass of Bouvet Brut.

Live Long & Drink Bouvet!Celebrating Patrice Monmousseau’s 70th Birthday

A few wise comments...

« […] This blend (Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay) is straw yellow in colour. In the nose lemon, almond and stone. On the palate dominating lemon and peach… racy acidity, strong bubbles and a good finish. Nice purchase! »

Weininspector, Germany

“Blend of Chenin and Chardonnay, this cuvee without any dosage is fresh and incisive, it’s ideal for aperitif.”

Bettane & Desseauve, France

[…] A special place for this Brut Zéro, all the essence of wine […]very nice freshness, a wine of experience in all senses of the term»

Terre de Vins, France

PRESS REVIEW

DIE ZEITAugust 2013Germany

The Master of Riddling« […] Is globalization really the steamroller that mows down all regional cultures? […]One example that allows us to beg to differ is the story of Patrice Monmousseau, the head of Bouvet-Ladubay.Patrice knows that the bubbly has to be infused with a sym-bolic charge and that is one of the reasons he hosts these events. He had the old theater building, which the founder of the company had erected for his wife in his day, carefully restored – with lots of plush adornments, putti and pomp. The art museum, which is part of the property, on the other hand, features a modernistic style and houses contempo-rary sculptures and paintings. The company also owns an underground cathedral in its cellars. Illuminated sculptures are on display here, reflecting the town’s history. This is where the base wines are stored in barrels to ripen. […]Well over a dozen years ago, liberal entrepreneur Alain Minc wrote a book on “Happy Globalization.” It earned him a lot of ridicule in France. In Saumur, one can take a tour that proves that this phenomenon does actually exist […]»

La revue du vin de France

April 2013France200 Leading Figures in Wine Business“Going on 70 years old, the unbeatable CEO of Bouvet-Ladubay embo-dies half a century suc-cess of this winery from Saumur, subsidiary of an Indian multinational company. He started at 18 as a simple cellar wor-ker at the family winery, he has known post-war years of new export markets’ opening, acqui-sition by the Taittinger family, multiplication of sales by ten, resale to United Breweries.”

FalstaffFebruary 2013Germany

Bouvet Trésor Rosé - 91 points“This wine: real luxury, tiny bubbles, pastel pink color with orange hints. Delicate straw-berry, cranberry and red currant notes. On the palate: pleasing foam, nice aromatic intensity and a long fi-nish. […] Ideal to drink either alone, or with seafood or red fruits.”

Wine SpectatorMay 2013USABouvet Rosé Excellence“A charming sparkler, w i t h s t r a w b e r r y, cherry and waterme-lon flavors, offering a fresh, lingering finish that shows a light ber-gamot note.”

BOUVET LADUBAY CELEBRATES THE 100TH TOUR DE FRANCE

In a nod to the 100th anniversary of the Tour de France, Nicolas Briançon (actor but also the Anjou Festival’s Artistic director) and Grégoire Bonnet gave readings of the Tour de France chronicles by Antoine Blondin at the Théatre Bouvet Ladubay, which has proudly partnered the Anjou Festival for 25 years www.festivaldanjou.com

Bouvet Ladubay presented its Crémant de Loire Cuvée Henri de Belrives for the stage of the Tour de France in Laval on July, 11th!

This Cuvée, created for the collection “Reflets de France” for the Carrefour group, was poured on the occasion of the Tour de France whose historical sponsor is Carrefour.

At this year’s Wine & Literature Festival in Saumur, Bouvet Ladubay welcomed one of French cycling’s greats - Raymond Poulidor. He came to present his

book « Mes 50 Tours de France » (My 50 Tours of France) which he wrote at the age of 76. Even if he doesn’t participate in races any more, cycling still remains his passion.

Benoit Lemercier, Curator of Bouvet Ladubay Contemporary Art Center since 1992, is in Sau-mur this year for an exclusive for Bouvet Ladubay

with his new exhibition “D’un infini à l’autre” (From one infinite to the other). In order to portray a journey at the

very heart to the matter, the artist brings together his paintings and sculptures into two series: Hypercube and Superstrings. Hypercube is a series of black sculptures representing the fourth dimension and the infinitely large, while the Superstrings series of white ribbons aims

at symbolizing the infinitely small. Thus, this exhibition gives us a poetic vision of both temporal and geographical extremities of the universe. The exhibition is open until the end of October…

BOUVET IN RUSSIA

This new luxurious restaurant in Moscow offers gourmet cuisine to its clients with an amazing bird’s eye-view of the city. We are proud that Bouvet Trésor Blanc sparkles in this gastronomic wonderland.

www.whiterabbitmoscow.com

“Blend of Chenin and Chardonnay, this cuvee without any dosage is fresh and incisive, it’s ideal for aperitif.”

A few wise comments...
